Bisnis.com, JAKARTA — Global oil prices have surged by 40% over the past two weeks, boosting the fortunes of several Indonesian conglomerates with exposure to the black gold industry.

Brent crude traded around US$105 per barrel on Monday (3/16/2026) after earlier rising by 3.3%, while West Texas Intermediate (WTI) approached US$99 per barrel. Oil futures have jumped more than 40% over the past fortnight.
